Yorkshire Tourist Board

The brief

Brahm’s objective was to refresh how the Yorkshire brand is portrayed.

Our response

The first project involved taking a new look at the famous white rose emblem. The Yorkshire Tourist Board was keen to retain the positive associations and familiarity of the emblem, but at the same time felt that it needed bringing up to date. Brahm devised a fresher variation of the logo, and also designed an accompanying brand manual to show users how to work with the identity correctly. The result was a refining of the Yorkshire emblem coupled with an easy to use guide on how to maximise branding opportunities.

The second project was an on-screen guide, supported by a printed flyer, aimed to promote Yorkshire in a creative and interesting way, highlighting that the county really does have something for everyone. It featured famous locations that have been featured in television and film including: Emmerdale; Harry Potter and The Full Monty.
