Doncaster Metropolitan Borough CouncilBrahm has provided a variety of marketing communications services to DMBC over a number years, starting with the public consultation and PR support for the re-development of Doncaster Racecourse at Town Moor. Over 90% public support was recorded for the Masterplan to deliver a new stand, a hotel, improved stabling and re-sited Bloodstock Sales for the home of Britain’s oldest Classic horse race, the St Leger. The new stand opens in September 2007. The need to raise the education standards of Doncaster was the driver for the creation of a revolutionary Doncaster Education City concept, which placed a new Doncaster College (now built) at the hub of improved higher education provision. Brahm’s task was to undertake the public consultation exercise, which engaged with councillors, teachers, students, parents and school board governors to explain and successfully deliver acceptance of the strategy. Currently Brahm is engaged by DMDC to help bring the FARRRS (Finningley and Rossington Regeneration Route Scheme) project to fruition. This involves the provision of a link road from the M18 motorway to the new Robin Hood Airport which, when delivered, will result in the opening up and regeneration of a major part of South Yorkshire. Brahm’s role is to provide PR, consultation and marketing materials.
