Client challenge:

ASD metal services is the largest independent metal stockholder and distributor in the UK, and needed an advertising campaign which harnessed its strong employee proposition to recruit for its graduate programme.

Our solution:

Our objective was two-fold: to generate awareness of ASD amongst a new target audience and to position it as a progressive, innovative organisation - one with unrivalled prospects for those just starting out in their career. By incorporating the client logo into the design and using an upbeat copy tone, Brahm created a distinctive, fun and quirky advert, which reflected the unique values, culture and personality of the organisation. Brahm employed online advertising channels – both graduate-specific websites as well as national press sites – to generate the desired cross-section of applicants from various disciplines. The 2006 campaign successfully generated around 150 responses and has resulted in eight new graduates joining the company.
