Brahm – officially one of the best companies to work for
Brahm has achieved national recognition as one of the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For. The agency is one of just 15 firms in the Yorkshire and Humber region to be awarded the Best Companies star status accreditation.
The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists are independently compiled by research organisation Best Companies. Chief Executive Jonathan Austin said: “Brahm’s 2007 accreditation is an outstanding achievement. It confirms their commitment to the on-going journey of workplace engagement. Our role is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers.”
Results are based on the views of more than 100,000 UK employees across 434 organisations and the figures reveal significant differences between the attitudes of employees working at accredited companies and those working elsewhere. In particular, 85% of staff at accredited companies say they would ‘strongly recommend’ working for their organisation, compared with just 64% at non-accredited rivals - findings which suggest that accredited firms may have an advantage in attracting the best quality people.
The award was collected by Brahm Joint MDs John Morgan and Julie Hanson, who said: “Making Brahm a good place to work has always been important to us. Our aim is to create an environment in which people enjoy what they do and feel motivated to do the best for themselves and for our clients. So we are delighted to receive this accreditation, especially as it is based on the opinions of the people who work at the agency.”
