Brahm named in the 100 best small companies to work for in the UK

Complete communications agency Brahm has been recognised as one of the 100 best SME companies to work for in the UK, according to the Sunday Times league table published Sunday 6 March 2005.

The Sunday Times asked thousands of employees all across the UK if their company really does put them first. Brahm was the only marketing agency in the North of England to feature in this prestigious ranking.

To compile the list, three levels of evaluation were used: employee survey; company questionnaire; and workplace visit. Brahm was placed at 61 in the listing. The results said: “A family feel and friendly management mark Leeds-based business services company Brahm: nine out of 10 employees laugh a lot with their colleagues and 89% say their team is fun to work with. They are in the top 20 for believing their workload to be fair, and few would leave if another job was on offer.”

Julie Hanson, Joint MD at Brahm said, “We are delighted with this recognition. Our employees are our most valuable asset, they work hard and we expect great results - but people have always been our No1 priority. What really makes this a fantastic place to work is that Brahmers love what they do – and it shows in the quality of the work we produce for clients such as Persimmon, Kellogg’s, McCain, the Learning and Skills Council and Yorkshire Forward.”

Last year the company launched Brahm+ The University of Brahm, investing £100,000 in an Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) accredited training and personal development scheme, for all its employees.
