Fabrications

Pip Dickens’ practice is diverse in terms of subject matter – from the terrain of Iceland, studies of ‘political transparency’, camouflage and moiré patterning, Her ongoing project, ‘Fabrications’, encompasses a wide range of influences from the actual stuff of fabric to the idea of fabrication in terms of stories, film and how we create memories.
Pip Dickens, graduated with a Masters from The Slade School of Fine Art in 2000 and exhibited primarily in London and also San Francisco. Since 2006 she has been working with MAKE architects on a public artwork for a new development in the West End of London.
