Silke's work, mainly constructed and abstracted imagery, is inspired by human conditions, emotions and literature; and has been exhibited and published nationally and internationally. She is currently experimenting with a filmic style, creating narratives through occupying space with colour, form, movement, light and shadow. The images convey a certain silence but are evocative at the same time; titles are ambiguous and thought provoking.
