Georgina Hope’s comic strip LUB DUB explores how a heart transplant may affect human emotion. “In the context of contemporary culture, with an increasing impossibility to clearly distinguish between the natural and the technological, so is there a blur between an individual’s intimate heart felt emotions and the given mass-produced romantic discourse”.
LUB DUB tells the story of Eliza a girl whose heart transplant leads her to wonder whether she can still fall in love.
