Kalon – Painter of the Year 2004 Awards

Client challenge:

The Johnstone & Leyland Painter of the Year Awards is an annual event, which recognises outstanding work in the painting and decorating industry.

Now in its 21st year, Brahm was asked to deliver and manage the ceremony for the third year running and the client set the specific brief of adding value to the events of previous years.

Our solution:

Guests were exclusively invited to the ceremony at the prestigious DeVere Belfry and enjoyed a celebrity golf tournament accompanied by Liverpool football hero, Alan Hansen. They were then treated to a champagne reception and four-course meal, followed by the awards themselves.

The entertainment was provided by the hilarious Jon Fothergill from the Comedy Store, and guests partied into the small hours.

The event was a great success and Brahm has already been asked to start planning for the 22nd Painter of the Year event.
