KeldaClient Challenge:Kelda, the parent company of Yorkshire Water, asked Brahm to look at their annual report and accounts and environmental reports, which previously had been very text-heavy, holding large amounts of important information. The documents are an important tool for Kelda, and communicate key messages about the work, results and initiatives of the company. The audience for these communication tools is very varied: from city analysts to the general public, and investors. Brahm Design were asked to design both the annual report and environmental reports with the audience in mind and to make these communication tools more powerful statements about the achievements of the company.
Our Solution:Brahm introduced images of people and the Yorkshire landscape to show the effects of water on our environment. For both pieces of communication, the information was organised and written to provide maximum clarity and impact. The annual report is a factual document which presents key figures and information, but also acts as a marketing tool for Kelda. The environmental report has undergone a significant change as the main bulk of information is online as part of the Kelda environmental website. Brahm designers and digital designers worked together to produces a short summary document which leads to the full information on the website.
