The Great Brahm Bike Challenge raises £2,222 for Breast Cancer Care

Ten Brahm mountain bikers braced the November elements of the Yorkshire Moors and cycled 65 miles through Dalby Forest to Robin Hood’s Bay, near Whitby – and back! The adventure through ‘middle earth’ raised £2,222 for Breast Cancer Care. The weekend was a triumph for man over machine, as the intrepid explorers negotiated the mother of all sludge pools, rickety rope bridges and tackled the cliff edge descent, defying an early North Sea bath. However, the highlight came amid the darkening skies and the calling of Mount Misery – the highest peak of the ride – which defeated man, beast, machine, and even The King (of the Mountains) Kevin Bray.
